AI16Z co-founder Shaw took to X to share the update, stating, “We are turning toward the next chapter of the project. As we continue to expand across multiple countries, develop our core technology, and foster an incredible community of builders, we are implementing a comprehensive rebranding initiative to ElizaOS.” He also confirmed that Eliza will continue to serve as the project’s mascot and public identity.

Despite the rebrand, the token ticker ($AI16Z) remains unchanged for now. Shaw stated, “AI16Z’s token symbol will remain unchanged, and any future modifications will be determined through a community vote on our DAO governance platform once launched.” The project also clarified that no additional tokens will be created.

The community’s Twitter page too has gone through a revamp with the name ‘V2 Loading’. The team reassured community members that no immediate action was required on their part.
